Swiss Chard with Tahini Sauce

Swiss chard is my go to green when I'm in a rush because it cooks so quickly. I try to eat greens at lunch and dinner so I'm always looking for a variety of greens and different ways to eat them.


Ingredients:

Instructions:

  • Wash and remove big center stem from the chard.

  • Sauté the shallot or leek for a minute or two in a spray of olive oil, veggie broth, or water.

  • Add chard and sauté on medium for about 5 minutes. You may need to add a touch of water or veggie broth if it looks too dry.

  • Season with salt and pepper.

  • When wilted to your preference, plate the chard and drizzle with tahini sauce and sprinkle on sesame seeds.
